Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Neville Goddard App ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address and name when you create an account.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the app (quotes viewed, favorites saved, reminders set).
  • Device data: device type, OS version, and app version for diagnostics.
  • Purchase data: subscription status through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not store your payment details.
  • Microphone data: audio recordings when you create voice notes in the journal feature. Recordings are stored on our secure servers and never shared with third parties.
  • Photo library access: images you select for your vision board or app customization. We only access photos you explicitly choose; photos stay on our servers and are never shared.
  • Advertising data: Google Mobile Ads may collect device identifiers, IP address, and app usage data for personalized advertising (iOS users can opt out via App Tracking Transparency).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the app experience.
  • To sync your favorites, notes, assumptions, and journal entries across devices.
  • To send you daily reminders you have chosen to enable.
  • To manage your subscription and unlock Pro features via RevenueCat.
  • To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve the app.
  • To display personalized ads through Google Mobile Ads (you can opt out on iOS via App Tracking Transparency).
  • To process and store voice recordings and photos you create within the app.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • Your account data is stored on secure, encrypted servers hosted in the United States.
  • Your personal notes, assumptions, journal entries, and voice recordings are encrypted in transit using TLS.
  • Notification preferences are stored locally on your device.
  • Photos you select for vision boards are stored securely on our servers and only accessible to your account.
  • We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
  • You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Apple App Store: handles all subscription payments and billing. Subject to Apple's privacy policy (apple.com/privacy).
  • RevenueCat: manages subscription status verification and in-app purchase receipts. Subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy (revenuecat.com/privacy).
  • Google Mobile Ads: displays advertisements within the app. May collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data for ad targeting. Subject to Google's Advertising Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/technologies/ads). iOS users can control tracking via App Tracking Transparency settings.
  • We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes beyond the advertising services described above.

5. Permissions & Device Access

  • Microphone: required to record voice notes in the journal feature. Audio is stored securely and never shared with third parties. You can revoke this permission at any time in device Settings.
  • Photo Library: required to add images to your vision board and customize the app experience. We only access photos you explicitly select. You can revoke this permission at any time in device Settings.
  • Notifications: we send local push notifications for daily reminders you configure. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's Settings.
  • App Tracking (iOS only): we request permission to track your activity across other apps and websites for personalized advertising via Google Mobile Ads. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

6. Push Notifications

  • We send local push notifications for daily reminders you have configured.
  • You can disable notifications at any time from your device's Settings.
  • We do not send marketing push notifications without your explicit consent.

7. Your Rights

  • Access: you may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: you may update your account information at any time in-app.
  • Deletion: you may delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • Portability: you may request an export of your personal data by contacting us.
  • Opt-out: you may opt out of analytics data collection by contacting support.

7. Children's Privacy

  • This app is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
  • If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
  • If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
  • We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
  • Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
  • The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
